Dr. Honig received her M.D. from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1990 and completed her dermatology residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1994. Following her position as Chief Resident at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Honig joined Medstar Health at Good Samaritan Hospital, where she served as Chief of Dermatology until relocating her private practice to the Owings Mills/Pikesville area in 2004.
Dr. Honig received a Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude with highest honors in chemistry from Williams College. She has authored numerous scientific publications and is the primary author in several textbooks of Dermatology. Dr. Honig has been in private practice for more than 16 years, is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her areas of expertise include general and pediatric dermatology, skin cancer prevention and treatment, dermatologic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser treatment of hair and skin disorders.
